Two weeks ago we had the first relatively nice weekend where I live!! No drywall or working in the house for me. Its time to get back out into the yard.
This year my yard is a reclamation project. I had a beautiful yard, thick green, minimal weeds…but I added on to the house to accommodate an ever growing family. By the time the digging, dragging, and hammering was done, my beautiful yard was gone.
Here’s what it looked like before the addition to my family and my home:
So I started in the fall by regarding the yard with 60 tons of top soil. After that digging, dragging, raking, and smoothing was done, I planted the grass seed. It looked great then, but after the snow melted, it looked like a patch work of green. So I raked and planted some more seed. (Safer® Brand Seed Starter) I hope it fills in…
