My little experiment of growing potatoes in old trash cans is doing well. . The plants have reached the top of the can. I have been putting in soil as they have grown. Hopefully, there will be potaoes all along the long stem.

How exciting! I’ve been wanting to plant some potatoes in old tires, I hear that they grow easily there. Have you tried that before?
I have tried the potatoes in the tires and they worked great, the only problem I encountered was ants.But I loved the idea and plan to do it again. I alsolike the garbage can Idea, tell me is it a plastic or a metel can?
